West Haven is an exclusive community, situated on the CR 54, opposite Champions Gate. We are 4 miles south of Disney via Interstate 4 and are about 2 minutes from junction 58 on the I-4. You progress up the long drive and then go through our massive electric gates into a different world. The Abbey is a single road, running along a ridge. To the west, there is landscaping and trees to segregate you from the rest of West Haven. To the east, there are the breath-taking conservation wetlands. Our house sits on the east side of the road, on the best plot of the whole community. Furthermore, we have a large easement on our south side so there is a full house-width between our house and our southern neighbour - ideal for maximum sunshine and maximum privacy. In due course, there will be a village centre to the northeast, with sports facilities, shops and restaurants. Meanwhile, there are plenty of facilities just a short drive away. Champions Gate is a new golf complex, designed by Greg Norman. As well as 2 magnificent courses open to you and your guests, there is also David Leadbetter's Academy (just in case there are any minor imperfections remaining in your game). The plaza at the centre of Champions Gate features restaurants, takeaways, video store, large Publix supermarket, etc, etc. Close by is the wonderful new Omni hotel with a big range of restaurants and bars - we love it! In the other direction along CR54, you quickly get to the US27, which has endless gas stations and eateries; in addition, Kissimmee and Celebration are also just a short drive, so the choice is yours - whatever you want, it is just a few minutes away.. Disney is under 10 minutes and the immediate access to the I-4 brings all the other attractions - Universal, Sea World, Shopping Outlets, International Drive, Tampa - within easy reach.
